Faculty Senate Committees with charges central to the governance of the General Faculty and the Faculty Senate are: Government and Elections and Appointments. These committees review and make recommendations regarding the Constitution and its bylaws, oversee and conduct elections, and assure proper continuity of membership in the Senate and its committees. The Budget Committee, another body central to faculty governance, makes recommendations to the central administration and to the Faculty Senate regarding strategic planning for the University budget.
