Committees

Charge: The Committee shall develop policies governing the academic calendar, summer session, class scheduling, academic advising, and undergraduate regulations and requirements, and it shall review all other university academic policies developed by the administration insofar as they fall under the Senate’s authority, as expressed in II.C.1-2, and report its recommendations to the Senate. The chair of the Committee shall serve as a member of the Executive Committee.

Membership: One (1) voting General Faculty member elected from each electoral division; plus one (1) Senator appointed by the Chair of the Senate. Nonvoting: one representative appointed by the Student Government Association, one representative appointed by the Graduate Student Association, and others as appointed by the Provost.
